The
island of Paros has been reknown since the ancient years
thanks to its great poet Arhilohos and its superb white
marble. Its fame has been conserved in the
later ages due to its big church Panagia Ekatontapiliani,
the oldest Christian temple in Greece, built in the 4th
century. The capital, Parikia, resembles a white hug that
greets its visitors with love. Its numerous small churches,
its picturesque streets and spotless beaches as well as
its smooth mountains make Parikia so beautiful that it
completely charms its visitors!
